Becoming an"Official Selection" means your entry passed through the first judging stage, (DID NOT get rejected) now being able to go in front of the AWARD judges to decide the type of award (s) it will receive, if any.
Your film's name will appear in the Official Selection list here only if you have submitted the entire film into one of the Major Categories. Films submitted for judging in sub-categories will not be listed until they win an award.
Being Officially Selected does not mean your film is scheduled for live screening.
Award email notifications will be sent the week of April 20, 2025 and Best of Festival winners will be invited to have their film showcased at our June, 2025 event, Rehoboth Beach, DE.We screen only Best of Festival winners.
Our screening event is to collect audience reactions to be used by our distributors. We don't conduct after-screening networking parties or seminars.
Video interviews of the viewing audience may be conducted and shown on WRPN.tv
We also might choose a few Best Of Show and Outstanding Excellence winners to be showcased on WRPN.tv
