 RFIFF has instituted a system in which entries do not compete against each other but are recognized for their own merits.
They compete against themselves.
Each entry is judged on merits and scored on an inherent value system.

When it is your turn to be evaluated, the judge's focus is on your film, not on all the other films in cue.
This ensures that they will not make comparisons when they should be focusing entirely on you.
